Odemwingie Suffers Calf Injury, Offered New Contract By Rotherham United

Peter Odemwingie is set for a spell on the sidelines after sustaining a calf injury in the warm-up before Rotherham United faced off against Oxford United in the FA Cup on Saturday.<br /><br />The Super Eagles star was initially named in the starting eleven but had to make way for Blackstock due to the injury.<br /><br />Odemwingie will have to undergo further tests in order to determine the number of days he will have to spend in the treatment room.<br /><br />The 2014 World Cup star has been offered a contract extension that will keep him at the Millers until the end of the 2016-2017 season, but nothing has been signed yet. <br /><br />He has made seven appearances for Rotherham United, and has bagged an assist.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel<br /><br />Photo Credit : themillers.co.uk<br />
