Relegated EFL League One club Crewe Alexandra have announced their retained and released list following the conclusion of the 2021-2022 season.
The Railwaymen have made decisions on the future of the players that represented the club this term, including four players of Nigerian descent Ryan Alebiosu, Rio Adebisi, Tariq Uwakwe and Tyreece Onyeka.
Exciting fullback Alebiosu has returned to parent club Arsenal following the end of his loan spell.
The 20-year-old struggled with a back injury that limited his appearances to six in the division and logged 373 minutes.
Another winter signing in Chelsea academy product Uwakwe is still under contract with Crewe Alexandra for the 2022-2023 season and the same applies to Adebisi.

Uwakwe had injury issues that kept him on the sidelines for approximately two months and ended the season with eight games under his belt, while Adebisi played 24 games before his season was cut short by a serious foot injury.
🤕 Rio Adebisi could face time on the sidelines as #CreweAlex wait for scan results on a foot injury that forced him to be replaced at Morecambe.

Meanwhile, Onyeka is among the eight players who have been released and the Anglo-Nigerian departs the club after one appearance.
