Retired Scotland international Chris Iwelumo has been appointed the Head Coach of Wolverhampton Wanderers Under - 18 squad, reports the official website of the Championship side.<br /><br />The 36&nbsp; - year - old spent two seasons at Molineux, scoring 16 goals in 52 appearances before moving to Watford in 2011.<br /><br />&ldquo;I am really pleased that Chris has accepted our offer to lead the Under 18&rsquo;s,&rdquo; said Academy Manager Gareth Prosser to wolves.co.uk. <br /><br />&ldquo;After a thorough interview process, with some excellent candidates, Chris showed a great character with a real willingness to learn and desire to improve the players.&rdquo;<br /><br />The former Charlton Athletic and Burnley striker will be in charge when the U18s travel to Holland for a training camp on Monday, July 27.<br /><br />Photo Credit: wolves-stats.co.uk<br />
