Through official channels, English Championship side Cardiff City have announced the acquisition of ex Nigeria Under 20 international Semi Ajayi. <br /><br />The central defender has appended his signature to a two - year deal that will see him remain at the Bluebirds until June 30, 2017.<br /><br />Three months ago, Semi Ajayi arrived the Cardiff City Stadium on loan from Arsenal but did not get to make a single appearance for the Welsh side before the season ended.<br /><br />The 21 - year - old was on the payroll of Charlton Athletic before he signed for Arsenal in 2013 after starring for the Flying Eagles at the Toulon Tournament that summer.<br /><br />Semi Ajayi has committed his future to Nigeria even though he is eligible to represent the Three Lions.<br /><br /><br /><br />
