Through official sources, Vanarama National League South club Chelmsford City have announced the signing of Anglo - Nigerian Marvel Ekpiteta. <br /><br />The defender was offered a deal by Chelmsford City after impressing manager Mark Hawkes during pre - season matches and training.<br /><br />Ekpiteta was on target in the first half in Chelmsford City&rsquo;s 2 - 1 loss to Brighton &amp; Hove Albion in a pre - season fixture on Saturday.<br /><br />He was invited to train with the Flying Eagles ahead of the 2013 African Youth Championship but failed to make the final squad list.<br /><br />Marvel&rsquo;s twin brother, Marvin Ekpiteta, is also on the books of <i>The Clarets</i>.<br /><br />Photo Credit : chelmsfordcityfc.com<br />
