Former West Ham central defender Emmanuel Onariase has joined EFL League Two club Cheltenham Town on loan for the remainder of the 2016-2017 season.<br /><br />The paperwork has been completed and the young Nigerian may make his debut against Colchester on Monday afternoon. <br /><br />Onariase, who models his game after ex-Super Eagles skipper Joseph Yobo, began his football education at West Ham at the age of 12, before joining Brentford in January 2016.<br /><br />The 20-year-old has got good communication skills, constantly organizes the back line and the midfield, poses an aerial threat and is excellent in 1v1 defending.<br /><br />He has committed his international future to Nigeria ahead of England where he was born.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br /><br />Photo Credit : brentfordfc.co.uk<br />
