Sky Bet League Two side Barnet have announced via their official webpage that they have struck a deal with Braintree Town as regards to the signing of Simeon Akinola.<br /><br />Though the duration of the contract signed by the offensive all-rounder has not yet been disclosed, Barnet paid 40,000 pounds before acquiring him from the National League club.<br /><br />Akinola had spells at Boreham Wood and Harrow Borough before joining Braintree Town in August 2014.<br /><br />The Iron have recouped some of their previous investment in the player as he would have walked away as a free agent in the next five months. <br /><br />Simeon Akinola, who has a first class degree in Economics,&nbsp; joins prolific striker John Akinde at the Hive Stadium.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley <br /><br />Photo Credit : borehamwoodfootballclub.co.uk<br />
