Maltese Premier League club Mosta have completed the signing of Nigeria international Onyekachi Okonkwo on undisclosed terms.<br /><br />The central midfielder has been searching for a new employer following his release by South African club Mpumalanga Black Aces at the end of the 2014 - 2015 season and was offered to a number of clubs in USA and Europe.<br /><br />The 33 - year - old started his career outside Nigeria with Orlando Pirates in 2004 after helping Enyimba win back - to - back CAF Champions League titles. <br /><br />Okonkwo later starred for FC Zurich (Switzerland) and Al Kharitiyath (Qatar) before making a dramatic return to Orlando Pirates in the 2012 - 13 campaign.<br /><br />He is credited with 20 international caps for the Super Eagles and participated at the 2008 African Cup of Nations.<br /><br />Photo Credit : Mosta<br />
