Through official channels, League Two side Yeovil Town have announced the signing of Anglo- Nigerian defender Omar Sowunmi, who was on the books of Ipswich Town last season.<br /><br />The 19 - year - old has been offered a one - year contract by <i>The Glovers</i> after impressing manager Paul Sturrock in a trial game staged at Huish Park.<br /><br />Speaking on his new acquisition, Sturrock told the club&rsquo;s official website : &ldquo;Omar stood out for me in the trial match we held at Huish Park. <br /><br />&ldquo;He is only 19-years-old and very mature for his age.
