With a statement on its official webpage, English Premier League outfit Stoke City has announced that striker Peter Odemwingie has extended his collaboration with the club until the summer of 2016.<br /><br />The Potters have retained the option of prolonging his contract beyond June 30, 2016 if he impresses during the 2015 - 2016 campaign.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m very happy that the Club have shown me tremendous support after some very tough times,&rdquo;&nbsp; Odemwingie said&nbsp; to stokecityfc.com.<br /><br />&ldquo;I&rsquo;m happy that Stoke trust my ability in helping to improve and push the team on to greater things, so I&rsquo;m delighted to still be a part of that.&rdquo;<br /><br />To date, the Nigeria national - teamer has scored 6 goals in the Premier League since his shift to Stoke City.<br /><br />A product of Bendel Insurance, Odemwingie previously starred for West Brom and Cardiff City in England.<br />
