Official : Super Eagles Star Released By Relegated Blackburn Rovers
This is official. Nigeria international Hope Akpan will have to look for a new employer before the start of next season.
After holding talks with the central midfielder, Blackburn Rovers have informed him that he will not be offered a new deal when his contract comes to an end next month.
Akpan joined Blackburn Rovers in the summer of 2015 from Reading, and is credited with 5 goals in 66 appearances for the Ewood Park outfit.
The 25-year-old started off his career with the youth team of Everton before joining Crawley Town and Reading in that order.
Whilst at the Toffees, he was loaned out to Hull City to have a better chance of playing first-team football.
