Through official channels, Washington Spirit&nbsp; have announced the signing of Super Falcons midfielder Ngozi Okobi, pending receipt of her P-1 Visa and International Transfer Certificate (ITC). <br /><br />The representatives of the National Women&rsquo;s Soccer League club, outfit have held a long-term interest in the 21-year-old and tried to sign the Nigeria international prior to the 2015 FIFA Women&rsquo;s World Cup in Canada.<br /><br />In the last five years, the tricky youngster has been a consistent play for both club and country.<br /><br />Her performance at Canada 2015 further convinced Spirit top brass to invest in her services. <br /><br />The 21 - year - old Okobi last represented Delta Queens in her homeland.
