With a statement published on their official website, Wolves have announced that Super Eagles netminder Carl Ikeme has extended his contract with the Championship club.<br /><br />Ikeme has signed a new two-and-a-half year contract, with a further year&rsquo;s option in the club&rsquo;s favour, which will keep him at Molineux Stadium until at least the end of the 2018-2019 season.<br /><br />Aged 30, the Sutton Coldfield-born stopper has been on the books of Wolverhampton Wanderers for the past fifteen years and progressed through the ranks before making his debut in August 2005.<br /><br />Ikeme has had loan spells at Accrington Stanley, Stockport County, Charlton Athletic, Sheffield United , Queens Park Rangers, Leicester City , Middlesbrough and Doncaster Rovers.<br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
