Greek champions Olympiakos turned down a <span class="st">&euro;15 million from a Chinese club who were interested in landing the signature of Brown Ideye in the January transfer window.<br /><br />According to gazzetta.gr, the offer brought by the Nigeria international was rejected because the Reds could not find a replacement for the striker few days before the close of the window.<br /><br />Olympiakos would have made a profit of </span><span class="st">&euro;9.58 million on Ideye if his transfer to China had materialized, having paid </span><span class="st">&euro;5.42 million to secure his services from West Brom last summer.<br /><br />Having represented Neuch&acirc;tel Xamax, Sochaux and Dynamo Kiev, Ideye joined West Brom in July 2014 and spent only a season with the Baggies before switching to Olympiakos.<br /><br /><b>Ifeanyi Emmanuel</b><br /></span>
