Victor Osimhen has underlined the squad depth in the Super Eagles before Tuesday evening's showdown against Ghana at the National Stadium in Abuja.
Should any of the players named in the starting lineup prove ineffective or the game is not going according to plan, interim boss Augustine Eguavoen has able replacements at his disposal.
For the first leg clash in Kumasi, as many as seven players with English Premier League experience were left out of the starting lineup namely Odion Ighalo, Ahmed Musa, Ademola Lookman, Emmanuel Dennis, Frank Onyeka, Oghenekaro Etebo and Semi Ajayi.
The uncertainty over the availability of Samuel Chukwueze for the return leg could open the door for Lookman to make his full Nigeria debut on Tuesday evening.
Speaking to NFF TV, Osimhen said : "We have to give respect to the Ghanaian team also, they have some great quality players but we are ready.
"We have good quality players, individual talents that can actually win games for us and we have very good squad depth.
"On the bench also we have quality players that can come in and get the job done for us and we are really looking forward to this game as a group."
Though Osimhen fired blanks on Friday, he was in top goalscoring form for Napoli before he reported for international duty, finding the net six times in his last seven matches in the Italian Serie A.
