Photo Confirmation : Reading's Sone Aluko Shakes Hands With Beijing Renhe
Beijing Renhe have completed the signing of Nigeria international Sone Aluko two days before the close of the winter transfer market in the country.
The agreement between the Chinese team and Reading FC will see the winger spend the entirety of the 2019 campaign on loan at Beijing Renhe.
Aluko is set to become the second Super Eagles star that would play in the Chinese Super League this season, with Shanghai Greenland Shenhua snapping up Odion Ighalo from demoted Changchun Yatai earlier this month.
Aged 30, he spent his formative years as a footballer with the youth team of Birmingham City, then joined Scottish team Aberdeen, before spells at Blackpool, Rangers, Hull City and Fulham.
Aluko is in line to make his competitive debut for Beijing Renhe in the opening game of the new season against Shandong Luneng on Friday, March 1.
A former England youth international, he has appeared in seven matches for the Super Eagles, scoring two goals vs South Africa.
