Representatives of Nigeria internationals Uche Nwofor and Michael Uchebo have moved quickly to react to reports published by Portuguese club Boavista via their official website in which they claimed that they don&rsquo;t have a valid agreement with Nwofor. <br /><br />Uchebo has not been paid for the past eight months, <span class=\"null\">and FIFPro are now paying him, an employee of Boavista, money to survive. He has vowed not to leave the club unless his entitlements are fully paid.&nbsp; </span><br /><br />&ldquo;We have seen the official statement released by Boavista and it is just a joke, &rdquo; Uchebo<span class=\"null\">&rsquo;s</span> rep <span class=\"null\">Kobe Benson said.</span><span class=\"null\"><br /><br /></span><span class=\"null\">&ldquo;They have come out with a rash response to save face but without taking a careful look at the law and their legal obligation towards Uchebo.<br /><br /></span><span class=\"null\">&ldquo;It is ridiculous to say that Nwofor</span><span class=\"null\">&rsquo;s agreement is not valid unless Uchebo agrees too. <br /><br /></span><span class=\"null\">&rsquo;The contracts are individual contracts and this remark goes against employment law and is another breach of Fifa&nbsp; rules and regulations. </span>&rdquo;<br /><br />He added : <span class=\"null\">&ldquo;</span><span class=\"null\">I don&rsquo;t know who advises the club but they are clearly misinformed. What they have to understand is that if Uchebo leaves Boavista today, according to Fifa rules, Boavista must pay him approx 600,000 euros gross which is the value of his contract till 30th June 2017. <br /><br /></span><span class=\"null\"><span class=\"null\">&ldquo;</span>We have given them a chance to be reasonable but we have realised that they are not trustworthy therefore it</span><span class=\"null\"><span class=\"null\">&rsquo;</span>s difficult to reach an agreement with a dishonest entity who has no regard for agreements. </span><span class=\"null\"></span>&rdquo;<br /><br />Independent investigations conducted by <b>allnigeriasoccer.com </b>can reveal that as early as 28th May 2015, Boavista had already defaulted in several payments due to the players and their agent.<br /><br />They were forced to sign a recognition of debt to the tune of 77,500 euros net which was signed by the club president Alvaro Braga and lawyer, Dr Adelina Trindade Guedes, who knowingly aided the club in perpetrating dishonest acts and allowing a near bankrupt club to sign new players. <br /><br />Following failure to honour the recognition of debt signed by Braga and his lawyer, Adelina Enforcement agents were sent by lawyers representing the players UK agency to seize credits held by Boavista over the Portuguese Football League.<br /><br />However, the enforcement agents discovered from the league that Boavista currently does not have any funds whatsoever over the Portuguese Football League.<br /><br />They also discovered that Boavista&rsquo;s future earnings are already seized in 35 legal proceedings and the total debt already registered against future earnings exceeds several million euros. <br /><br />Ifeanyi Emmanuel <br />
