Arsenal have moved to second place in the provisional Premier League 2 table after a 2-1 win over north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Meadow Park on Friday night.
Several players of Nigerian descent were on show, with 2021 Super Eagles invitee Joshua Oluwayemi and central defender Tobi Omole starting for the visitors, while Mazeed Ogungbo, James Olayinka and Miguel Azeez played the full game for the home team.
The Arsenal team was captained by Hale End Academy product, Olayinka who was deployed at wing-back in his first appearance for the development squad since January 11.
In a late double change, Dutch-Nigerian winger Joel Ideho and Nathan Butler-Oyedeji joined the action three minutes into stoppage time.
After Hutchinson had squandered a chance to give Arsenal the lead in the fifth minute, Marcelo Flores broke the deadlock when he tapped in on 17 minutes.
Seven minutes later, Flores' low cross was turned into his own net by ex-Gunner Omole but Alfie Devine pulled a goal back with a brilliant strike at minute 32 after picking the ball from his own half.
