AIK recruitment manager Miika Takkula has confirmed that there is a great deal of interest in Nigerian teenage sensation Zadok Yohanna following his impressive start to the season.
In three Allsvenskan matches this season, Zadok has scored one goal and provided two assists, which have not gone unnoticed by European teams.
Chelsea, Ajax Amsterdam and Club Brugge have all been credited with an interest in the 18-year-old.
During TV4’s broadcast of Sunday's clash with Kalmar FF, it was revealed that 32 scouts were in attendance at the Strawberry Arena, many of whom were reportedly there to observe Zadok.
Although he did not reveal the identities of the scouts in attendance, Miika Takkula admitted that there is growing interest in the Nigerian.
"Of course it's positive that there's this kind of interest in him. That clubs come to our matches. Reasonable clubs come to scout him," he told Expressen, via Fotbolltransfers.
"I can say that they are reasonable clubs. Of course, really good clubs."
Zadok, who is under contract with AIK until 2029, played the full 90 minutes in the 1-0 victory over Kalmar, a match decided by Johan Hove’s 26th-minute penalty.
Last month, the Ikon Allah FC product scored three goals across two matches in the Svenska Cupen.
