Rabiu Ibrahim On Target For Trencin In Loss To Spartak Trnava

Super Eagles midfielder Rabiu Ibrahim<span class="body1">&rsquo;s goal could not prevent Slovakian champs AS Trenč&iacute;n from losing 3-1 to FC Spartak Trnava in the Fortuna League on Monday. <br /><br /></span><span class="body1">AS Trenč&iacute;n were 2-0 down at the end of the first half but their Nigerian star reduced the deficit in the 53rd minute to give them hope which ended when </span><span class="name">Ivan Schranz restored </span><span class="body1">Spartak Trnava</span><span class="body1">&rsquo;s two-goal cushion 12 minutes later.<br /><br />The goalkeeper had no chance to stop the ball after Rabiu Ibrahim was teed up by compatriot Samuel Kalu who was introduced just before the start of the second half.<br /><br />Super Eagles left-back Kingsley Madu featured for the entirety of the contest while Aliko Bala was an unused substitute.<br /><br />Despite the loss, AS Trencin still top the standings with 72 points garnered after 30 rounds.<br /><br />Igho Kingsley.<br /></span>
