Academica Start Pre - Season Training Without Ogu
Published: July 08, 2013Académica de Coimbra started pre - season training on Monday without Nigeria international John Ogu, whose holiday has been extended after representing Africa at the Fifa Confederations Cup.
The morning session was held behind closed doors while the afternoon workout was open to the public, supporters and media.
Académica de Coimbra's first practice match is against F.C. Pampilhosa on Wednesday, July 17.
John Ogu recorded 20 appearances (11 starts) in the Portuguese championship in the 2012 - 2013 season.
He was involved in the three matches played by the Super Eagles in Brazil.
