Akeem Agbetu's Car Catches Fire On Expressway
Published: July 15, 2013Former Nigeria Under 20 international Akeem Agbetu suffered personal misfortune on Monday afternoon in Turkey when his car overheated and got burnt on the expressway.
Thankfully, the TKİ Tav�anlı Linyitspor attacker was not hurt in the incident.
''I want to thank God for preserving my life. I appreciate the concern shown by my family and friends.
''I contacted the fire department but the car was a write off before they got there.
''We were coming from Istanbul, going to my club before the unfortunate accident happened.
''I was even very close to Tavsanli.....in all I give glory to God'' Akeem Agbetu told allnigeriasoccer.com.
Just last month, Akeem Agbetu signed a one - year contract with First League club TKİ Tav�anlı Linyitspor.
