Super Eagle John Ogu Resumes Training With Academica
Published: August 17, 2013After representing Nigeria in Wednesday's 2 - 0 defeat of South Africa, central midfielder John Ogu has returned to Portugal to start training with Academica.
For the first time in recent days, John Ogu trained with the squad on Saturday morning.
And that means he will be available for selection when Academica travel to face Simeon Tochukwu Nwankwo's Gil Vicente on Sunday, their first match in the new Primeira Liga season.
John Ogu made 20 appearances last season in the Portuguese championship.
His contract with Academica expires in the summer of 2015.
