Distraction Hits Golden Eaglets Camp As Agents, Power Brokers Impose Players On Coaches

Allnigeriasoccer.com understands that Coach Manu Garba has dropped four players from the Golden Eaglets squad preparing for the Under 17 World Cup in Calabar after Saturday's exhibition game against Tempbol Soccer Academy.
The affected players did not measure up to standard in the practice game won 1 - 0 by the Under 17 National Team and did not pull their weight in training.
Presently, there are over 35 youngsters in camp battling for 21 slots for the tournament which begins in the United Arab Emirates in less than two months time.
As earlier exclusively revealed by this portal, five players from the African Championship squad failed the MRI test conducted last week.
In addition two freshly invited players did not pass the examination , and a further four are on the borderline, meaning they have to do additional tests to authenticate their ages.
After the camp was thrown into disarray following the results of the MRI scans, the handlers invited 10 new players to join the team.
