Coach Sewnet Bishaw Fancies Walia Antelopes Chances Against Nigeria
Published: September 17, 2013
Head Coach of Ethiopia National Team, Sewnet Bishaw reckons that the Walia Antelopes have a chance of qualifying for the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
Nigeria and Ethiopia clashed at February’s African Cup of Nations, with the Eagles overcoming their opponents 2 - 0 thanks to a brace from Victor Moses.
“It is a good draw for both teams and we will be looking forward to playing Nigeria again after meeting them at AFCON 2013.
“At that time we were just happy to get back into top level competition and were inexperienced but now we have had many more matches at this level so we will give it a good go against Nigeria.” said Sewnet Bishaw.
Ethiopia will host the first leg tie scheduled for 11- 15 October .
