CHAN: Eagles Draw South Africa,Mali,Mozambique In Group A
Published: September 18, 2013The draw for the 2014 Africa Nations Championship was conducted in Cairo, Egypt on Wednesday afternoon.
Nigeria, who would be making their debut appearance in the tournament, are in Group A alongside hosts South Africa, Mali and Mozambique.
In total, 32 matches will take place during the competition which runs from January 11 - February 1, 2014 in South Africa.
The domestic Eagles will play their group matches at Cape Town Stadium while Mangaung and Polokwane will host the teams in Group C and D respectively.
Nigeria will lock horns with West African rivals Mali in her first group game .
Groups
Group A: South Africa, Mali, Nigeria, Mozambique.
Group B: Zimbabwe, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Morocco.
Group C: Ghana, Libya, Ethiopia, Congo.
Group D: DR Congo, Gabon, Burundi, Mauritania.
