Former Greece International Karapialis Wants Regular Action For Olaitan
Published: September 24, 2013Retired Olympiacos attacking midfielder and former Greece international Vassilis Karapialis is not pleased that manager Michel has failed to include Nigeria youth international Michael Olaitan in his starting lineup for most of the games in the Super League this campaign.
In fact, Michael Olaitan’s solitary appearance in the top division came against Levadiakos on September 1.
Otherwise, he has made the 18 - man squad on four different occasions but was an unused substitute.
“For example Olaitan. He was the best footballer in the team in the friendly and has since had minimum match time.
“With respect to Panaitolikos that had a very good team, but if you didn’t put him in Agrinio, especially so as things turned out in the second half, when will you give him a chance?” Vassilis Karapialis was quoted as saying by gazzetta.gr
20 - year - old Olaitain, one of the standout performers in the Flying Eagles squad to Turkey, suited up 29 times for Veria in the Super League last term.
