Ethiopia Want Ghana, Cameroon Friendly In Build Up To Nigeria Game
Published: September 25, 2013According to Ethiopian Radio and Television Agency (ERTA), the Walya Antelopes of Ethiopia have started preparations for the World Cup qualifying fixture against African champions Nigeria.
24 domestic based players are presently in the team’s training camp in Addis Ababa while an additional 4 professional players will join the squad from abroad in two weeks time.
The Ethiopia Federation are believed to have approached their Ghana and Cameroon counterparts for a friendly that will be used to fine tune strategies before the titanic clash against the Super Eagles on October 12.
Nigeria has not lost to Ethiopia since 1993, her only defeat in seven matches.
