Stephen Keshi Waiting To Hear From Joel Obi
Published: September 25, 2013The ball is in Joel Obi’s court if he is really interested in donning the National Team colors in future matches.
While admitting that Joel Obi remains in his plans, manager Stephen Keshi said that he tried to communicate with the Parma midfielder but was unsuccessful.
Speaking to the electronic edition of Brila FM, Keshi said: “I have tried on so many occasions to call Joel but I still can’t get through.
“But I would really want to talk with him, the last time we spoke he was nursing an injury.”
Joel Obi’s last international appearance for the Nigeria selection was against Rwanda in February, 2012.
