Emmanuel Emenike Needs A Goal
Published: September 26, 2013With new club Fenerbahce, Nigeria international Emmanuel Emenike has yet to open his goalscoring account, something that bothers the technical bench and the player himself.
The 26 - year - old attacker joined the Yellow Canaries in the summer transfer market from Spartak Moscow but has failed to deliver the goals after four games.
“I need a goal. Not having a goal is a great misfortune. It makes me disappointed. I hope that soon my goals would be beneficial to the team,” the African Cup of Nations top scorer told Fanatik.
Emenike’s late arrival to Turkey means he missed a great deal of pre - season training with his new teammates.
Before his switch to the Istanbul powerhouse, he netted 3 goals in 4 matches for Spartak Moscow.
