Preparations For Under 17 World Cup In Top Gear - Kelechi Ihenacho
Published: October 09, 2013Golden Eaglets striker Kelechi Ihenacho says the squad is fully focused on the task at hand , which is winning the Fifa World Cup for players below the age of 17.
Ihenacho believes the Nigeria Under 17s have what it takes to win the tourney in the United Arab Emirates as preparations are in full gear.
“Everything is on course with our preparations here in Dubai and by the special grace of God, we shall be ready for the World Cup challenge.
“Our coaches have been telling us to keep our calm and be focused.
“My teammates and I have been waiting for this opportunity; and we know we are privileged to be picked by the coaches,” Ihenacho was quoted as saying by futaa.com.
The youngster netted 5 times for the Eaglets at the CAN - Under 17 held in Morocco.
