Lukman Haruna Wants Eagles Recall
Published: October 16, 2013Dynamo Kiev midfielder Lukman Haruna has expressed optimism that he would return to the Super Eagles in no distant future.
Since the 2010 World Cup, the 22 - year - old has been snubbed by the national team selectors, first Samson Siasia, then current manager Stephen Keshi.
Haruna is banking on his form in the Ukrainian Premier League to earn a recall to the Nigeria selection.
Speaking to Sky Sports UK, the former Monaco ace said :“My ambition at the moment is to get back into the Nigerian team, I want to be part of the team and give my best to the country.
“I played in the 2010 World Cup and to do the same in the World Cup in Brazil could be fantastic.
“I am scoring goals in the Ukrainian League and hopefully that influences the coach to call me back.”
Lukman Haruna has netted 2 goals in his last 3 games in the Ukrainian championship.
