Golden Eaglets Walking The Walk, Thrash Mexico 6 - 1
Just before the commencement of the group games in Group F, manager Manu Garba boasted that his team will play a brand of Total Football at the Fifa Under 17 World Cup.

And the Golden Eaglets walked the walk at the Khalifa Bin Zayed Stadium on Saturday afternoon, thrashing defending champions Mexico 6 - 1.

Kelechi Iheanacho- tipped to be one of the stars of the World Cup - netted a double brace for Nigeria.

He opened scoring in the 33rd minute and gave the Eaglets a two - goal cushion seven minutes later.

But the CONCACAF representatives replied through Ulises Jaimes shortly afterwards.

Four minutes after the re-start, Iheanacho, whose progress is being monitored by clubs in Germany and Spain, bagged his hat - trick.

And that strike was followed by goals from Chidiebere Nwakali (52nd min), Isaac Success (60th min) and the new golden boy Kelechi Iheanacho (70th min)

Nigeria, who top Group F after the first round of games, will meet Scandinavians Sweden on Tuesday.
