Lukman Haruna Happy With Outcome Of Europa League Tie
Published: October 25, 2013
Nigeria international Lukman Haruna has commented on the Europa League tie between Dynamo Kiev and Thun which ended 3 - 0 in favor of the Kievites.
The 22 - year - old midfielder was on the field for 70 minutes before being replaced by Sergey Sydorchuk.
“The game has developed well for us. Swiss have focused on the destructive actions. Fortunately, we were able to open their defense and got the victory.
“As I said before the game, we have never met with this team, are not fully aware of their tactics. Opponent defended well, but we dominated the whole match and embody our advantage into goals.
“I’m sorry that I did not score, but most importantly - a victory for the team. We won, and not a problem that I did not manage to score. I did not score, but my teammates scored,”says Haruna to fcdynamo.kiev.ua.
Lukman Haruna, whose name is being linked with a return to the Nigeria selection, has made four appearances in the Europa League, including the preliminary rounds of the competition.
