Chigozie Udoji May Face Spell On The Sidelines
Published: November 25, 2013
Aris Thessaloniki attacking midfielder Chigozie Udoji faces a spell on the sidelines after injuring his groin in the 3 - 1 loss to PAOK on Sunday.
The 27 - year - old, who was on the score-sheet against their neighbors just before the hour mark, had to be substituted in the 82nd minute due to the complaint.
He will undergo further tests later today to determine whether he needs to undergo surgery, rest the complaint or continue to play with the ailment.
Though Aris are swimming in relegation waters, Chigozie Udoji has been imperious, with four goals in his last five matches in the Super League.
Aris are on the brink of bankruptcy except they get cash injection to improve their balance sheet in the coming weeks.
