3SC Boss Congratulates Farouk Alao, New Oyo Commissioner For Sports
Published: November 27, 2013Following the announcement of portfolio to the newly appointed commissioner in Oyo State by the State’s Governor, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the Chairman, management board of Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) Tunde Kelani-Anifowose has congratulated the new helmsman at the Sports in the State, Mr. Umar Farouk Alao who would henceforth be in charge of the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Farouk, son of an Ibadan based business mogul and frontline religious leader, Alhaji Abdul-Azeez Alao-Arisekola would now be replacing Mr. Dapo Lam-Adesina who has been moved to the Ministry of Industry, Applied Science and Technology.
The 3SC’s boss in his congratulatory message welcomed the new commissioner to the dynamic Oyo sports’ terrace, while assuring him of total support, cooperation and good working experience with all personnel attached to the traditional clubside.
Meanwhile, there are speculations surrounding the departure of some top players of the club which include Mutiu Adegoke and
Philip Asuquo, Tony Edjomarigwe, Osagona Ighodalor, Olabisi Samuel and Laide Okanlawon.
The media officer of the club, Jubril Arowolo declined to make a categorical statement concerning the issue saying the management is yet to notify him or come up with a decision on who stays and who would be released as at the time of filling this report.
