Obiora Nwankwo : CFR Cluj Forged Signature On My Contract
Published: January 09, 2014Romanian Liga 1 side CFR Cluj have mutually terminated the contract binding them with Nigeria international Obiora Nwankwo with immediate effect.
The 22 - year - old midfielder refused to take a pay cut and further stated that the signature on the contract he signed last summer was forged by club officials.
“Everyone should know that at Cluj slavery has been abolished .
“Truth is that they forged my signature and put it on another contract, other than that which I signed with them.
“It is a criminal offense and I am not the only player that it happened to at CFR Cluj .
“I do not want to make trouble, but only because the players there. If you decide to sue, players will be the most affected,’’ says Obiora Nwankwo to Å�tiridesport.ro .
The African Cup of Nations winner suited up 18 times for CFR Cluj in the Romanian top division.
