Official: Chuba Akpom Joins Brentford On Loan From Arsenal
Published: January 09, 2014English League One side Brentford has officially announced that it has reached an agreement with Arsenal over the transfer of Chuba Akpom.
The 18 - year - old attacker will remain at Griffin Park on loan until February 9, 2014.
Manager Mark Warburton was full of praise for the England Under 19 international after the deal was completed.
Speaking to the official website brentfordfc.co.uk, he said : “I am delighted to welcome Chuba to the Club for what will be his first loan spell away from his home club.
“I would very much like to thank Arsenal for their most professional and prompt response to our request to take Chuba.’’
Chuba Akpom made his Premier League debut for Arsenal last September.
