Oke Akpoveta Hopes To Bag FC Aktobe Deal
Published: January 12, 2014
Oke Akpoveta has been in Antalya, Turkey for the past four days undergoing trials with FC Aktobe.
The 22 - year - old might have done enough to earn a contract, having netted in two consecutive exhibition games played by the Kazakhstan champions in their training camp.
Akpoveta was on target in the 4 - 0 win over Brazilian team Mogi Mirim on January 10, and also found the range in the 3 - 1 defeat of Turkish 1 Lig side Kartalspor on Sunday.
“The trials are going on well . I hope to hear from my agent tonight but I am sure things are positive.
“I have scored 2 goals in 2 games now, so I hope for the best,’’ says Oke Akpoveta to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The Nigerian will append his signature on a two - year contract if he impresses manager Nikitenko at the end of the exercise.
