Oke Akpoveta Scores On Home Debut For Revan Baku
Published: February 08, 2014
Oke Akpoveta netted on his home debut for new club Revan Baki in their 1 - 2 loss to city rivals Inter Baki on Saturday .
The former Brondby striker had penned a four - month contract with the capital outfit in the winter transfer market just in time to make his debut last weekend against FK Baki.
He was disappointed that Revan failed to get any point from the game at the Bayıl Arena, no thanks to Vagif Cavadov’s match winner deep into stoppage time.
“It was painful to lose the game that way after all our hard-work. I would say the red card we got just before half time unsettled us.
“But I got the equalizer and I thought we could even get at least a point but we lost.
“We look forward to the next game because that is also important,” says Oke Akoveta to allnigeriasoccer.com.
The one time Warri Wolf will pocket $80,000 in the four - month deal he signed with Revan Baku .
