Eagles Drop In Fifa Ranking
Published: February 13, 2014On Thursday, the official website of Fifa released the latest ranking of National Teams for the month of February.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria have dropped six places are now ranked in number 47 position, compared to last month’s ranking.
In the continental ranking, Nigeria are the eighth best team in Africa, behind Ivory Coast, Algeria, Cape Verde, Ghana, Egypt, Tunisia and Cameroon.
Spain, Germany, Argentina, Portugal and Colombia are the top five countries in the world in that order.
World Cup opponents Bosnia and Iran are rated 17th and 38th respectively.
The next ranking will be published by the official website of Fifa, fifa.com on 13th March, 2014.
