Okagbue Lambasts Match Referee
Published: February 18, 2014Uche Okagbue was left to rue the performance of centre referee Markus Maaji in FRSC’s 1 - 1 Nigeria National League match against Adamawa United on Saturday.
“My boys played a good match, but the referee was a disappointment. He just took laws to his hands. Anyway he is human,” the coach said in Abuja.
“I think the result was cruel on us considering the fact that the equalizer from Adamawa came at stoppage time.
“I have told my boys to forget about the setback and start thinking of the trip to Jos, where Plateau United awaits us.”
