Javier Hernandez, Giovani dos Santos Invited For Nigeria Clash
Published: February 19, 2014The Director General of the National Team of Mexico has announced a list of 8 players summoned for the exhibition match against Nigeria in the United States on March 5.
Javier Hernandez (Manchester United), Giovani dos Santos (Villarreal), Diego Reyes (Porto) and Andres Guardado (Bayer Leverkusen) have all been called up for the tie against the African champions which takes place at the Georgia Dome Stadium, Atlanta.
Hector Moreno (Espanyol), Guillermo Ochoa (Ajaccio), Javier Aquino (Villarreal) and Hector Herrera (Porto) complete the list of foreign based players invited for the pre - world cup friendly.
Note that on Thursday, manager Miguel Herrera will announce the domestic players expected to make the roster.
They will start training next week ,between Monday and Wednesday, at the High Performance Center, Centro de Alto Rendimiento, CAR.
