Isaac Success, Iheanacho,Alhassan Ibrahim, Saddam Auta Named In Flying Eagles Provisional Squad
Published: March 27, 2014Kelechi Iheanacho and Isaac Success are the standout names in the provisional Flying Eagles squad to prosecute the African Youth Championship qualifier in May against Tanzania or Kenya.
While Success has been banging in goals for the Granada Reserve Team in practice matches, Kelechi Iheanacho , according to unconfirmed rumours, has agreed terms with Manchester City.
Other Golden Eaglets that have been promoted to the Flying Eagles and were invited by Manu Garba are Dele Alampasu, Samuel Okon, Musa Muhammed, Musa Yahaya and Zaharaddeen Bello amongst others.
Also called up are Wilfred Ndidi, Saddam Auta Michael (El-Cruzero ) and Alhassan Ibrahim of Sardauna Babes, Kano.
The squad which is made up of 4 goalkeepers, 10 defenders, 7 midfielders and 14 strikers will start training on Sunday.
