Sweden Manager, Erik Hamren Openly Flirts With Kennedy Igboananike
Published: March 28, 2014Sweden National Team manager, Erik Hamrén has hinted that he will hand an invitation to Kennedy Igboananike after the forward acquired a Swedish passport on Wednesday.
“It is positive. Then he has a number that he competes with, especially the players who are based in Europe. But it feels really positive that we get another player that I think is of high Premier League class,” Erik Hamren said to the electronic edition of Expressen.
“He scored a number of spectacular goals for AIK. I am delighted to have access to more players, especially since we lost a couple of players to other countries. I am pleased that we can bring in a few players.”
Despite representing the Under 20 National Team (Flying Eagles) in the past, Kennedy Igboananike could pledge his international future to Sweden.
He told the Swedish daily : “I hope but right now it is too early. We will see in the future. But certainly.”
