Daniel Chima Blames Pitch For Low Score
Published: May 07, 2014
Molde FK striker Daniel Chima scored the match winner in the hard fought 1 - 0 win over fourth - tier Strindheim to advance to the third round of the Norwegian Cup on Wednesday evening.
The 23 - year - old has stated that the playing surface at Strindheim Kunstgress (Trondheim) was one of the reasons the current Cup winners failed to get into their rhythm.
Speaking to allnigeriasoccer.com, Chima said :“We did not get the chances and the pitch was hard to play, so we could not score as much as we wanted. The idea was to win no matter the scoreline and get to the next stage and we did just that.
“We are not taking any chances. Our plan is to keep winning and the results will present itself.”
Daniel Chima has made 7 appearances in the Norwegian Premier League since the start of this season, netting in games against IK Start and Stabæk.
