Edin Dzeko Absent As Bosnia Begin Training For World Cup
Direct rivals for a second round World Cup ticket, Bosnia Herzegovina officially started preparations for the showpiece event at the training base in Hrasnica on Friday, May 16.

The players will follow a strict training plan drawn up by the Dragons handlers. The squad will have workouts twice a day and rest every fourth day before leaving for the United States on May 27.

All the invited players nominated to grace the mundial were involved in training on Friday apart from Edin Dzeko (Man City), Stoke City goalkeeper Asmir Begovic and Ermin Biaki , who will spend the next one week on the sidelines due to a minor injury.

Bosnia are in Group F of the tourney alongside continental powerhouses Argentina, Nigeria and Iran.

They have a date with African champions, Nigeria on June 21 at Arena Pantanal (Cuiabá, Mato Grosso).
