Published: May 26, 2014
Leyton Orient winger Moses Odubajo has stated that his wonder strike against Rotherham United in the League One play - off final on Sunday is not a thing of joy to him, having lost to their rivals on penalties to miss out on promotion.
The 20 - year - old scored a stunning volley in the 35th minute, before creating an assist for Dean Cox five minutes later, but Rotterham fought back in the second half to level the score 2 - 2.
“It was a great moment but we’ve lost at the end of the day, so it counts for nothing now.
“The first 15 minutes of the second half, we just - as a team - got deeper and they just piled on pressure and the pressure resulted in two goals,” the Anglo - Nigerian told guardian-series.co.uk
