Rilwan Hassan Reinstated In FC Midtjylland Squad For Showdown With Panathinaikos
Published: August 21, 2014Rilwan Hassan has been reinstated in the FC Midtjylland squad for the Europa League showdown against Panathinaikos on Thursday evening.
The winger had sat out the last two matches played by the Wolves in the Danish Superliga after he was sent off against Randers on August 4.
Also in the 19 - man provisional squad to face the Greece vice - champions are three other Nigerian players - Sylvester Igboun, Izunna Uzochukwu and the lanky forward Paul Onuachu.
The other Nigerian interest in the play - off tie is ex Flying Eagles skipper Abdul Ajagun, attacking midfielder for Panathinaikos.
The second leg will take place next Wednesday at the MCH Arena (Herning), with the winner advancing to the group stage of the Europa League.
