Leixoes Defender Rasheed Alabi Dedicates First Goal In Portugal To Wife And Kids

Rasheed Alabi opened his Portuguese Segunda Liga account by scoring the game winner for Leixões ten minutes from time in their hard fought 2 - 1 victory over Uniao Madeira.
Prior to the 19th round tie at the Estádio do Mar, the ex Flying Eagles defender had played just one game for Leixões.
“I scored with the head after I received a cross from a teammate. I am dedicating this goal to my wife and kids,” Rasheed Alabi briefly told allnigeriasoccer.com.
The center back will be in the stands this evening when FC Porto tackle bitter rivals Benfica in the Primeira Liga.
28 - year - old Alabi joined Leixões at the end of October after severing ties with Omonia Nicosia.
